Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an international independent medical humanitarian action-driven organization, which offers assistance to populations in distress, to victims of natural or man-made disasters and to victims of armed conflict, without discrimination and irrespective of race, religion, creed or political affiliation. 26 associations, 23 sections, and 16 branch offices make-up the international movement and work in partnership around 6 operational entities.
Main Purpose
Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) in Mombasa is engaged with supporting the health and well-being of adolescents and young people, in particular ‘key populations’ of sex workers, people who use drugs, and LGBTQ+ people. To evaluate and improve these activities, ongoing social and public health research is undertaken.
A candidate is required to support this research and otherwise enhance MSF’s work. This position will undertake a diverse array of research activities, including data collection, analysis, and dissemination. The successful candidate will also work with MSF’s partners to ensure all research is rigorous, relevant, and respectful.
