Job Description

Analysis of the carbon markets and the different marketplaces
Obtaining financial and general investment information related to the carbon markets
Daily tracking of market development, indices, and benchmarking
Prepare weekly outlooks on the carbon markets and present these to senior management
Prepare risk analyses of capitalized carbon inventory
Identify and track trends in carbon markets including pricing, policy changes, and other relevant developments
Develop and advise on hedging strategies

Requirements

You must be theoretically and analytically inclined
You must have the ability to express yourself well both in writing and orally
You must be up to date on economics, politics, and general societal development
You must have a strong ability to manage projects and timelines
Advanced MS Excel skills are required

Education and Experience

Relevant Diploma or Bachelor’s/Master’s degree
5+ years’ work experience in the analysis of carbon, commodities, and/or capital markets incl derivatives
Preferably CFA, Certified EFFAS, or similar accreditation
