Job Description

M.P Shah Hospital is looking to recruit ambitious and career-driven persons for the position of Dental Assistant.

Reporting to the Dentist/Community Health Officer, to assist the Dentist in performing treatment to the patient in restorative dentistry or oral surgery.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Take and document patient dental history and updates, as well as overall health and medication history.
Assist the dentist by handling supplies and instruments as requested.
Prepare tables and trays for the dentist with necessary instruments and supplies.
Clean and sterilize instruments, and prepare treatment rooms as needed.
Take, expose, and mount high-quality dental radiographs.
Ensure the appropriate supply of equipment and materials.
Perform patient charting as instructed by the dentist.
Welcome patients and get them situated in the appropriate treatment room.

Qualifications & Requirements

Diploma in Community Oral Health.
A minimum of 0-2 years’ experience in a dental clinic
